they really DO want to control EVERYTHING we do.

Well, sure, but they are so much smarter than we are and they care so much. It will be total chaos if all us little people start thinking for ourselves. Let our betters do the thinking for us. Now, run along like a good little peon...

Do I need a sarcasm tag on the above paragraph?

Jokes aside, that IS the gist of what I get when talking to libinlaws.

The elite liberals in power are inherently superior in intellect and ethics and can be trusted to not have to comply with the law/constitution because they have the greater good in mind.

I wonder if the future generations will even know there was once a Declaration of Independence that was one of the greatest expressions for human relief from government control ever or that there was a Nation founded with that expression paramount. I wonder if there will remain a spirit from the wars that were intended to preserve such.

He is going to touch off a civil war within his own party. Democrats here in PA have daily Multiple Orgasms contemplating their new revenue streams which are available as a result of fracking.

“If it weren’t for fracking, we would still be in a deep recession. To a tyrant, that means it must be attacked!”

Which is BO’s reasoning here. He told us he admired Hugo Chavez’s Venezuela. Now Hugo’s successor had turned that once prosperous country into a dump. So, Obama has a lot of things to do yet to compete with Venezuela on a downward spiral.

PS. It’s March 20th - which means we now have exactly 22 months to go with this jerk in the WH. Batten down the hatches, folks. Who knows what other surprises await us?

No, it became a dump under Hugo. Shortages of basics were happening then along with declining oil production. Hugo put that country into a deep hole. Maduro just keep digging inside the same hole.

Looks like ‘federal lands’ only. Per the Constitution, that’s not much all...

Course, I have yet to see any drilling ON a postal road or the such

Correct. We know Venezuelans who have been suffering for a long time.

My error. I should have written ‘Hugo and his successor’.
