Actually it was very well written and the subject matter deserves the longer treatment. It just needs is own thread (hint hint).
Maybe if you stopped drinking so much coffee and got off twitter, you'd rediscover your reading comprehension and story development appreciation skills.

Very...heavy...stuff.
I’m 66 and have already buried several loved ones including my first wife. I do not wish to die as they did, bedridden and helpless. On my feet and weapon in hand is much to be preferred. Islam shall not prevail and must be destroyed.

Won’t the citizens of Medina be proud to know that! :) Locally we pronounce it Med I na. I was assigned there once for six months and couldn’t wait to leave. The place was every stereotypical cliche` of small southern town politics you could name. One of the local preachers was under indictment for embezzling city funds and the Police Chief ran off with the Mayor’s wife. When the undertaker’s assistant was accused of taking liberties with the dearly departed, I knew it was time to leave! Sheesh!
Far more troubling are the reports of Islamic training camps in Paris and Dover, TN. I’ve just been reading about.

My mother lives in Murfreesboro, and has since I was 10 years old. I spend and have spent a lot of time there, and unless something has changed in the last several days, it is certainly NOT turning into another Dearborn or a muslim hotbed. Yes, there is a mosque there, and while I don’t trust them or the two mosques that are here in Bowling Green, KY; I hesitate to say that things are any different in Murfreesboro or Bowling Green as they are in Anytown, USA. Something to keep an eye in if you are paying attention, certainly, but let’s not throw Murfreesboro under the bus or label it something it is not.
Sounds like very bad news for the prior residents of Dearborn, who were mainly Christians who had fled Syria and Iraq.

The Murfreesboro mega mosque has gotten a lot of publicity since its hugeness doesn’t square with the small number of local Muslims. IIRC, the bundlers for the mega mosque had talked of building a minaret so tall it could be seen from thirty miles away. So where’s all that money coming from?
Nashville does have a growing infestation of Somalis & their gangs. I have family in Clarksville & our Muslim problem is minute, for now. Heck, the only visible religious group here are some Mennonites.

Yep, I worked there for many years. The heart of Ford country. Yes the “Arab” population is large there but most people fail to realize that a large portion of the population there is actually made of segments like Chaldean and Coptic Christians that were fleeing persecution.
And Detroit SWAT afraid to go into Dearborn? LOL, automotive engineers go in and out of it every day.
