I'm sorry, I forgot your criticism of the writer is more important than my criticism of you. I also forgot that you're allowed to mistake short stories for diatribes. I guess being a retired professor gives you certain privileges others don't enjoy. Which is only appropriate, of course. It's not like the rest of us have lived lives anywhere near as valuable, educated or elevated as yours.

If you type “Dearborn High School Prom 2014” you will see images from Proms from multiple high schools in the Dearborn area. The first picture shown is a (male/Female) couple from Dearborn High School.
This search took me all of 5 minutes. So, my question to you, why tell a lie that is so easily refuted? And, if this is wrong, is anything else you’re saying right?
BTW, not a Muslim (I’m actually Catholic), just someone who likes his articles factual.
I searched for five minutes and found two photos that were probably gussied up to feed to gullible Americans.
Dearborn has over 30,000 Muslim residents as of the 2000 census, but that number is rapidly growing.
It would appear that Dearborn is an Islamic test case for the invasion of Sharia law in the United States. The Muslims seem to be running the show there and have a very heavy influence in city matters resulting in favorable treatment of Islamists over Christians.
As a result, many City officials, including the Mayor, engage in official action solely to please this significant voting bloc.
This is a chilling outrage, as many of us know that the Islamists intend nothing less than the global domination of Islamic Sharia law. Dearborn is an Islamic stronghold and the people of Dearborn had better wake up to the creeping menace that is invading the area.
Your Internet must work different from mine. When I typed in “Dearborn High School Prom 2014”, I got more than 2 pictures. I stopped counting at 100, but there were significantly more. Of the first 20 pictures, 16 showed both men and women. Of the other 4, they were of women only, but the amount of cleavage shown made it clear that they were definitely NOT Sharia friendly.

In adition, it appears that some more of your “facts” are wrong (that’s a shocker). While the population of Dearborn of Arab descent is indeed 30,000ish, they’re not all Muslim. Dearborn (and the entire Detroit area) has a significant population of Maronite Catholics, Melkite Catholics, and Eastern Orthodox Catholics from Lebanon, and Chaldean Catholics from Iraq. I hardly think that these CATHOLICS are pushing for the imposition of Sharia law.
So, wrong about the segregated High School Proms, wrong about the Muslim population. Is there any factual data in your entire piece?

The 30,000(from the 2000 census) are probably over 50,000 by now and the census category was based on religion: Muslim.
Have you eaten any pork lately?
Find the biggest mosques and muslim cemeteries in the US. Then, you’ll find where there are/are expected to be the biggest concentrations.

Actually it was 30,000 Arabs in 2000. Arab does not always mean Muslim and most Arabs in Michigan are Lebanese Christian.

There is no "Detroit Metro SWAT Police." Detroit and Dearborn are separate cities with separate police forces with separate Swat teams. Dearborn is actually much safes.
As far as takeover goes, the mayor is a guy named....John O'Reilly. Most of the city council isn't Muslim either.
While there are Muslim issues, these types of BS scare tactics articles with no facts detract from the real issues and lower credibility of the posters. Don't believe everything you read on the internet.
There are problems there (school system especially), but it's a lot safer than Detroit and most Detroit bordering suburbs outside of the Grosse Points.
Yeah I know it. Dearborn is so dangerous the FORD, Lear, and Visteon all have their headquarters and many executives there.
I think a lot of people endanger themselves by assuming the muslims are somewhere else (Namely Dearborn). The reporter’s biggest mistake is in equating arab with Muslim when the vast majority in Michigan are Christian. Lots of Lebanese Christians arrived in the early 1900s and settled all around SE Michigan into Ohio. It really pisses off the Christian arabs to be confused with muslims.
Any attack in Michigan will be in a proudly declared soft point which all states have. I can think of a couple of other big targets that are vulnerable but I’m not posting any ideas for goat raping lurkers.

I was not aware that the census collected data by religion. I was not able to find any census data showing religion from a quick perusal of available sources. All the data I have seen covers ethnicity and national origin, not religion. Could you please point me to the census data by religion?

In the 1st sentence of the 2nd paragraph, you state that “41.7% of the population of Dearborn, Michigan, are of Arab-Muslim ancestry”. Could you please show me where the census uses the term “Arab-Muslim”? As I stated previously, I could see no reference to religion in the data.
In the 2nd sentence of the 2nd paragraph, you use the term “Arab-American” to feference this population. Which is it: Arab-Muslim, or Arab American? They ARE NOT exactly the same. If you’re implying that all Arabs are Muslim first, I would remind you that the Maronite church, and the Chaldean church both predate the existance of the Muslim religion.
It looks like your playing Jeopardy here. You already know the answer, so you’re trying to come up with data to support it.
Again - Catholic (Roman). It seems you’d rather throw out (false) insults than argue the facts of your case (maybe because the facts don’t support your arguement?).
