Denzel thinks the purpose of a commencement speaker is to inspire and encourage instead of inculcate hate and resentment and dump your own personal baggage on grads?
He’s never going to fit in with Moochie, the White House crowd, and the Obama butt kissing elites.

Food poisoning is more inspiring than Michelle Obama. She oozes hate and anger.
Good for D. Washington.

Hes a Christian? Did you ever see him act or behave like he wasn't?

Did you ever see him act or behave like he wasn't? Now that I think of it, not really.
(Then again, I don't really follow celebrity news.)

Few years ago he took a tour of a US Army burn center and wrote them a check for $1,000,000.
Seems like a good decent guy.
Not surprised that he's Christian.
Moochelle's speech was angry, racist and vile.
She spit in the face of those that pay for her vacations.
I doubt if she's done an honest day's work in her life.

Yes, he’s a Christian and a breath of fresh air. I’ve marked so many stars off my list and will not watch their movies, but Denzel has always been a favorite. Extremely tallented, principled man.

Denzel Washington is one of my favorite hollywood actors and I think he's a class act.
As a side note, one son named JD is a running back in the UFL and another son Malcolm recently graduated from the University of Pennsylvania while playing basketball for them.........

The Book Of Eli was his best in my opinion.
While not exactly a biblical story, it certainly had a biblical feel to it and a bible central to the story.

I’d watch Mr. Washington read the phone book. If they still exsist. Gifted man and he knows from winch it came.

I was in one of his movies, well, sort of. : ) That one where he was a pilot? There was a scene showing his character helping his drug addict girlfriend move out of her apartment.
He was briefly looking through a box in the trunk of her car and she had a picture of me playing live with an old band of mine. Apparently set directors think I’m the kind of guy that crackheads find attractive. Ha.

While not exactly a biblical story, it certainly had a biblical feel to it and a bible central to the story. I just played that for my ex-GF, who is a Christian. Made her dinner and we watched it. I had described it as watching a Biblical prophet in post-apocalyptic America. She loved it.
