Obama waging war on Republicans would be about as successful as his wars in Ukraine, Libya, Yemen and Syria.
I don’t think the comparison is that over the top. I’ve studied the rise of the reich over the years and although they are more quiet and methodical than the National Socialists of 30s Germany. Destroy the current police, install your own. Control the press and the message. Discount religion, only faith in the government. Destroy the healthcare system. Operate the government in secret, working to discredit and destroy your political enemies. Make treaties and agreements with other dictators to the detriment of your country and your allies. Make your “people” the downtrodden who have to rise up and destroy the majority. Create the image that your “people” are the master race and it is your turn. Ein Volk, Ein Reich, Ein Fuehrer. He and the democrat party are the National Socialist Party of our era and we ignore them at our own peril. They aren’t pikers, they are succeeding by taking a slower, more measured, slowly boiling the frog before it realizes what is happening rather than the blitzkrieg approach the German National Socialists took.
Doing a pretty fair job of it if that’s the plan.

Just the fact in the last three election cycles the people have pushed back against out of control government is a clear sign we are moving in the right direction...way too slow in my opinion...
I might add the "silent majority" is about fed up with a lot of the BS coming out of DC and this marxist administration...there will be a lot more push back...
Our system is slow and cumbersome, but it does work... at least so far..
1. The democrat party in this country is attempting to remove guns and ammo from our reach; in an incremental fashion. The incremental approach can be much more effective than one might think. We are not there yet, but we are aimed in that direction and it still could happen if enough people stop being vigilant.
2. Germany had elections as well and the election as well as the elected officials were manipulated by deception and by subtle use of force to step down and appoint der Fuehrer as chancellor. Once the power was consolidated, there were no more elections. Elections are only as good as and only effective as the population of informed electorate.
Too many of the conservatives we have elected have backed off of their conservative principles once in office. Way too slow plays well with their incremental approach to domination.
