At one time it was like that. Back in the days of Harp Seal, Gonzo, Abundy, and others whose screen names I can’t recall. But that was then and this is now.

I still have my handful of stalwarts.

They know who they are.

They keep me coming here.

If we do have a financial collapse, natural disaster, or war later in September, Jade Helm will likely go live. That would give the fascists cover for JH participants to do their extractions of high value dissidents, resisting veterans. The media would necessarily be distracted by the big events so that a relatively few extractions (which could run in the thousands or more) would go under the radar.
Alternatively, coinciding with an event like a financial collapse, the fascists could run a false flag blaming liberty/patriot movement or invite in ISIS to attack. That would give more impetus to a round-up and regional martial law.
In order to defuse such a nefarious act, we do need to talk about the possibilities. Maybe just say something like, I think September or the Fall is going to be rough. I’m worried about the government response to a collapse. When something does happen, the fascist propaganda machine will be out in full force and without a warning, most people will be fooled by the fascists.

I think it’s wrong to lump local police in with the ATF.

When they all huddle down in the makeshift "command center", do you really think the local PD is going to hold back?

And say, "Wait a minute, just who are these guys that want to go in full commando? These are our neighbors they want to attack, this is wrong?"

You really think that is how it went down, or more likely, the adrenalin and steroids kicked in and it was time to use all those cool toys Obola has been giving them?

These are cops after all, trained and indoctrinated to intimidate and dominate.

I didn't really make the same connection, but it truly fits.

It's almost like the Tories won in the end, in the East. Flaming liberal Tories, that is.

The Tea really did get them foaming like rabid dogs - so much so that they were willing to use the IRS and commit BASKETLOADS of felonies to "get them".

That bears repeating. If you shoved that in a progtard's face, their head would explode.

Then explain why the ATF was there waiting for the bikers.

http://www.nicp.net/?page_id=45 - “While in Special Operations Swanton was also involved in the aftermath at Mount Carmel and was awarded the Police Commendation bar along with his other teammates for their involvement.”

No, not according to Sgt. Honest, um, Swanton.

“The 18 Waco officers and four Texas Department of Public Safety Officers involved in the incident remain on duty as Waco police, Texas Rangers and the DPS Criminal Investigation Division investigate, he said... “We are asking (the biker groups) to stand down, we are asking them to let us sort through our investigation and we will be honest with them as we have with you and will continue to be,” Swanton told reporters.”

If the usurper’s Jade Helm in Bastrop, TX wanted to do right by the country, they’d turn their sights on helping out the people who had their lives turned upside down again yesterday with the floods.

Those who did do something direct (Operation Rescue) got to know RICO up close and personal.

Use of the "RICO LAW" against anti-abortion groups

Joseph Columbo started the “Italian-American Civil Rights League” as a means to have the public at large provide respectability, and cover for crimes by his organized criminal families.

The membership at peak reached 100,000.

Nonetheless Columbo was gunned down in public by a competing crime family member at a League event.

Law Enforcement stayed focused on the criminal familes.

I think it is naïve for non-criminal biker groups to voluntarily associate and therefore provide cover, respectability to the criiminals.

Bandidos = criminal
Cossacks = criminal

Guess what? That was KNOWN before the confab, which police discouraged the restaurant owner from hosting.

IOW law enforcement tried to avoid trouble. They next came to observe the event, for they continued to expect that there MIGHT be trouble.

When they came for the Mafia, the other Italian Americans said “take them, all of them, they are not us.”

The good biker groups should likewise say “take the criminals. Take them all. They are not us.”

But apparently the good guys are so intimidated, they seemingly feel compelled to give the outlaws credibility, respectability and cover.

What if they........stood up to the criminals?

But, no articles like this suggest the cops are wrong, when it is the criminals that are wrong.

Great comment. This saying was designed to protect the Left and separate the Left from Hitler...when Hitler was the Left of Germany. He took a different name from Marxist to fascist.

I have been bitterly disappointed that a number of FReepers (of the low-information, low-discernment type) so quickly fell for this tactic. These stupid creatures were quick to join in the vilification of the “bikers” and reveled in the murders carried out in this DOJ/ATF/local police operation.

I would have been disappointed if I'd expected anything different. The bright spot in this though, is that the apologists for the police state are becoming a small and smaller (though more vocal) minority. Look at the threads on this, you'll find the same 3 or 4 posters present, some with 50+ comments per thread. Makes it seem like a lot more support for the police state than really exists.

I've been on FR for a while. I've been watching the number of reflexive JBT supporters slowly decrease over the years. Just 10 years ago, the general reaction on this site to what happened there would have been remarkably different.

Seemed to me to be a vaguely Baltimore-like situation, with more than one “poxy” house involved in a tragic-clownic situation, and then of course everyone involved dindu nuffin.

Forecast: Stormy, with a high chance of heavy lawsuit precipitation and political posturing.

When I was younger, my teachers used to refer to this as “man’s inhumanity to man.”
