I really do not want to cause any bad feelings, but I am puzzled about something.

I am not very religious now, but I was taught for 12 years in Catholic school (taught by nuns, not lay teachers...there is a difference) that Christ’s most endearing quality was his Godlike ability to forgive. And I suppose St. Peter was relieved that was the case, considering his penchant for the Biggest Betrayal of all time.

Look around. Our free trade deals have yet to pan out as advertised. The elites have been calling for the “free flow of capital and labor ACROSS borders” for so long, and it has now started to come to pass. The labor refers to immigrants. I first read about that about ten years ago. I never believed it would occur. It is happening now. Do you like what you see?
Forgive is something different than trust. And forgiveness only comes after contrition and apology.
I have heard no apology from Cruz and only more denials and lies about what he has done.
If he sincerely apologized and changed I would certainly forgive him.
I was happy when Cruz won his senate seat. I thought we had somebody who could be counted on. It was a mirage. It would take at least two terms in office with appropriate voting behavior to re-establish his credibility with me. But he doesn’t have it in him. The man is probably brilliant; he knows exactly why he votes the way he did. But the world is full of brilliant people. I like Trump because he is extremely pro-traditional-American. And he doesn’t take crap off anybody. I particularly enjoy seeing him eviscerate the mealy-mouth liberals.

I think you have me mixed up with another poster. I fully concur with Cruz on TPA. I think it is necessary because without it we won’t be able to review the trade agreements for the 60 days before vote that TPA requires.

Many of us have explained the betrayal at a little child’s level and I guess you just can’t understand.
