There is no woman in US History that can match the gravitas or significance of Alexander Hamilton. There just isn't.

I've noticed that of late when Hamilton is used in modern pop culture context (from historical fiction novels to TV dramas like "Sam Adams") he is portrayed as a self absorbed blowhard with delusions of grandeur. As if he had little or no substance and was simply riding the coat tails of Washington's favor. The lefties don't like him much, I guess.

Sadly, I would guess that most high school students today would have no idea who Alexander Hamilton was, much less what he did. At the same time, I would be suprized if threre were many of those same students who did not know about Rosa Parks. That’s where our educational system put its priorities these days.
