Reminiscent of when people would dig up the corpses of people such as Cromwell and various “heretics”, and publicly defile them for political purposes. Soon the Left will take serious aim at the slave owning founding fathers. They need to “delegitimize” what they see as a corrupt America to its core. Farrakhan’s comment about the flag was not meant to shock or an attention grabber. Its the mindset of the Left.

an attempt to hide history.
Keep it up, and we may have to forget that there ever was slavery.

Anyone named "Robert" or "Lee" should be forced to change their name; anyone using the initial "E." should be forced to change that "E."
There - that fixes everything!

Baltimore is a chocolate city now so why not? Why not obliterate everything connected with The Confederacy? The lo-IQ ignoramuses are in charge there.

History to a Humanist is highly irrelevant.
The only thing that matters NOW is what the smartest people believe NOW.

Robert E. Lee would probably be highly insulted at having a park in Baltimore named after him today, so I'd say go ahead and change it.
How about renaming it "Hamsterdam Park"? (Reference to the"Hamsterdam" episode of "The Wire.")

I find it interesting that Mr. Roofs dream of sparking a race war is being fulfilled by the race baiters, politicians and media. (The last 2 are kind of redundant)

This is not enough. Shouldn't any civil war books, or at least books with "Confederacy" in the title be burned?

Honestly, sometimes I think we SHOULD get rid of those symbols and at least move them somewhere where we can protect them (until such time as we need them again). They are our history and Id hate (oops!) to see them destroyed.
The left DO remind me of the Taliban destroying the artifacts of the ancient culture in their region.
...and not to mention the 600,000 casualties in the Civil War.

Soon the Left will take serious aim at the slave owning founding fathers. Already happening. Just yesterday there was talk on CNN of getting rid of the Jefferson Memorial on the National Mall.........................
