I have always had reservations about Judge Scalia but his dissent is one for the ages.

Humpty Dumbty:

"When I use a word,’ Humpty Dumbty said in rather a scornful tone, ‘it means just what I choose it to mean — neither more nor less.’

’The question is,’ said FReepers, ‘whether you can make words mean so many different things.’

’The question is,’ said Humpty Dumbty, ‘which is to be master — that’s all.” "

Traitor Roberts is Humpty Dumbty.

The current Chief Justice and the current Pope have a lot in common. They are making it up as they go along. Lawlessness and corruption at the very top of both organizations.

“Under all the usual rules of interpretation, in short, the Government should lose this case. But normal rules of interpretation seem always to yield to the overriding principle of the present Court: The Affordable Care Act must be saved.”

Thank God for Justice Scalia. Unfortunately we still have this abomination of a law.

And the cases will publish forever the discouraging truth that the Supreme Court of the United States favors some laws over others, and is prepared to do whatever it takes to uphold and assist its favorites...

Kagan, the unwise latina, Bader-Ginsburg.... ugh.

I like the term Scobamacare. I don’t want to let Obama off the hook that easily.

We are seeing the death of basic logic and reason...the destruction of any reference points...

A rationale man must have reason, logic, truth as his God.. they dictate to him, he summits to it, it governed his action..

it is why when we speak of natural law, we speak of God given rights, we speak of self evident truths, they are the same thing that a rationale man must accept

That being said we the irrational anarchist,

the extreme atheist that hates any god ruling him, even logic...we have the extreme libertarian that hates any law governing him even natural law....

both are really anarchist...rebelling against any reason ruling them...hedonism

and they both open the door for the true tyrant.. the lawless ruler of pure power applied by arbitrary whim of the moment

Somebody called into a talk show today and spoke of Legislative Law and Common Law. I’s add Common Law to the discussion being an abstract derivative of Natural Law for societies descended from English (and Germanic, Nordic) traditions.

I can’t say enough good about Scalia. Kudos to Thomas as well.

I feel so sorry for him. How can he go to work every day and not slap some of the other justices silly? I could not endure the idiocy and treason of some of the others.

I was happy when he was appointed. I thought he’d be a conservative voice of reason on a court that was drifting ever leftward. What a fool I was!

If that’s the case we ought to eliminate SCOTUS. Why do we need a rubber stamp to implement what the dictator decrees?

It seems to me that anyone could use this illogic. I was drunk, but not drunk your honor.

I would not be able to endure this anymore were I either of them.

The court has become something that is quite evil.
