Exactly. Merely banning the word itself makes zero logical sense. Political correctness gone insane.

Also, I hate to break it to my fellow freepers who love to taunt/mock Muslims by threatening to smear pig blood's on them and make them eat bacon, but pork products are EQUALLY forbidden in the Jewish faith, and for the exact same reasons (the Quran even references the OT books saying swine is unclean). Christianity is the rogue religion in this case.

I don't know if Muslims would accept Harry Potter type literature at all; they probably wouldn't be big on the ancient stories of Circe turning men into pigs, though they might believe that Djinns are still capable of doing so.
