Blame Liberals for the Rise of Trump

I do. The ones in the GOP establishment. Finally, a GOP nominee who isn't too afraid to boldly state and defend the views of conservatives. For that alone, Trump deserves the thanks of conservative voters.

Wasn’t she behind Trump being uninvited in Atlanta?

“So, if the rules are demonstrably stupid, and they only exist for the right, why play by them? “

I’ve been disappointed with S.E. lately, but the quote shows she’s listening. How do you expect someone to behave up to certain standards when they do not have any standards?
The Right has tried to battle with the left using their Alinsky-like tactics. So far they’ve not been very good at it. but once they get the hang of it. It’s on like Donkey Kong!

Pray, when getting in the mud with the pigs, we don’t begin to enjoy it and become what we despise.

Every time I see that name, I keep being reminded of “Two Girls and a Cupp”...

SE Cupp is, unfortunately, part of the Destroy Trump movement led by the Republican Party-Democratic Party-Big Media coalition.

I love the line:

They have taken the governor off the racecar.

I have to assume this is a pun thinking of Bush and Christie and others.

The GOPe will continue struggling with why Trump is popular as long as they continue to struggle with the concept that their own $h*t stinks.

Enter Trump, a straight talking, political outsider billionaire who's not afraid of being politically incorrect.

I can only speak for myself, but I think this nails it. I am so tired of spineless GOP rinos "leaning across the isle" to sell out our conservative values for their reelection I could puke. From immigration, to spending and taxes, the GOP establishment sold conservatives down the drain for a few pieces of silver. I am now an independent and will remain so until the GOP grows a pair and starts passing legislation that speaks for us conservatives.

It's all absurd, of course. Trump says things that are unequivocally offensive, and regularly.

The writer argues against himself. Politically correct and microsensitive.

There is nothing wrong with leaning across the aisle as long as the other side does it too. Unfortunately it never, or very seldom happens and they expect out site to do it all the time. It needs to stop pronto

S.E. Cupp is a GOPe RINO at best, but she really nails this column. Political Correctness is more evil and insidious than most people know.

Amen! But please do not forget to give credit to the GOPe’s fawning sycophants in the “conservative” media.

Between the two of them they have given aid and comfort to the Democrats in their goal of the utter destruction of theis country.

Trump is everything a TEA Party member would want in their President.

Haven’t heard anything from the TEA Party in a while. They still around or did Lois Lerner effectively neutralize them?

Does she still work for Glenn Beck? To be fair, Trump was only a registered Democrat for 8 years out of his 51 voting available years. He has been a Republican longer than a Democrat. He was also registered at one time as an Independent and a member of the Reform Party - which was started by Ross Perot.

I’ll blame republicans.

Can the republicans name one big success they’ve had in congress this year? A single example of why it’s a good thing to put republicans in office?

Why not try something different? If nothing else he’s talking about immigration in a new way. Better in the end? Worse? Who knows? But it’s different and sounds good. Republicans have been saying the same things (many different things at the same time) for years but have done NOTHING.

I’m hoping that on topic after topic Trump will start new discussions. I don’t care if I agree with him or not. Congress should have the real authority on making laws and maybe they’ll decide to take it back if Trump does head the wrong direction. And if he’s not headed the wrong direction maybe congress will decide to work as a law making body and give him the laws he needs to do things.
