Photo at site but I forgot how to bring photos over to the thread.
I guess he doesn’t have the cushy assignment I imagined.
Horrible story.
But they are such sweet dogs and so good with children. Or at least I've been told on FR. Sounds like the priest probably saved his life.
Told the victim not to give up when he said he thought he was going to die.
Two big chunks taken out of his arm. Apparently deep enough that nerves were ripped out.
And then we get mad when cops shoot dogs. Cops face this danger daily.
Sounds like they were part of a dog fighting pack to me. Neighbors said those dogs had killed 3 other dogs in the neighborhood during the summer.
And the victim has a pit bull himself.
When I watched the video yesterday, it appeared that one dog was on a leash during at least part of the attack.
I’m sure these dogs barked first.
Sounds like the whole neighborhood wanted them dead.
From earlier articles I understand that the dog will be put down at a later date (I guess after the investigation is over.
>The two pit bulls have been taken to Animal Care and Control
There was plenty of time for someone to grab a knife, ballbat, chair leg or other weapon to take the life out of those killer dogs. WTF is wrong with these people?
Maybe some bleeding heart moron will “rescue” these worthless animals.

Yes, one of the guys who helped save the victim grabbed the leash but could not hold them back. Way too much dog for a woman in my opinion.
“FYI - The priest is none other than Fr. Jonathan who appears on Fox & FRiends.”
And Our Lady of Mount Carmel is the church of my childhood - a very beautiful church indeed, in the Little Italy of the Bronx. I did not know that father Morris was assigned there.
I normally watch the first hour or so of Fox & FRiends (retired now :) and I have not seen him on the show talking about it. Perhaps he knows all or most involved in the incident.
Don’t be so sure. Many pits are taught not to give warning, they just attack.
One of my friends is from that area. Said the Feast of Our Lady was a real big deal.
Yes, that and the Feast of San Gennaro.
My mother sang at the church (weddings, funerals, etc) for many years.
