Here we had 4 Democrat hacks and one self identified Socialist who over the course of only a little over two hours made promises to initiate programs that had a price tag approaching $20 trillion (10 years). Lord help us if one of these goofs has 4 years to think up new shit.

Funny thing is that not one of those people had any criticism of the others potlatch promises. In the debate the terms “national debt”, “balanced budget” and “government waste” were not mentioned.

Taking the total adjusted gross income of the top one percent would not be enough to pay for it.

Fifty years ago Dems and Pubbies agreed on most social issues. There were still plenty of Dem pols who believed in a strong defense and fighting communism. A Bernie Sanders couldn't have gotten elected dog catcher in those days. All gone now.
