SECRET/NOFORN is, so far, the most classified document I’ve seen hit the press from the Hillary home brew server. I wonder how many people in the media even realize what a big deal this is. What’s next, ACCM? T/S? This is beyond what I would have expected and a huge blatant disregard for the laws of how we handle classified documents.

I would think EVERYTHING that gets sent to a secretary of state is confidential and should be for the Sec’s eyes only.

What someone re-words her emails to remove classified information? Who determines what the Sec State needs to see and what doesn’t need to be included?

Hillary sold us out in more ways than we can count. What she has done is infinitely worse than anything I’ve ever heard of.

In essence she turned over all operational details during her tenure, but now she exposed god knows how much history over.

The fires of hell aren’t bad enough for a thoroughly self serving traitor’s espionage.

“SECRET/NOFORN is, so far, the most classified document I’ve seen hit the press from the Hillary home brew server.”

I thought they found some SCI documents on the server, and also the name of a CIA agent.

“Comes back to the “process” .. “Somebody” read every email addressed to Clinton at the State Dept, edited it to remove the classified paragraph markings and headers, then either forrwarded to her civilian, unsecure email server; or re-wrote “everything” from every State Dept paper and letter and email and telephone conversation, then forwarded THAT summary to her email address.”

The article posts the memo, it was not an email but a memo to the President from the SOS. It has SECRET/NOFORN on it, and was only declassified in 2014,

ASA... When I was in the USAF in the early ‘50s there were 4 categories, Top Secret, Secret, Confidential (?) and Restricted.

Now, I’m confused one of the comments at the Daily Mail website, indicates that the document was provided by DOS as a result of a FOIA request. The commenter states it was not a leaked document, and it was not on Clinton’s server.

The following is the 12th paragraph of the Daily Mail Article:

“The documents, obtained by The Mail on Sunday, are part of a batch of secret emails held on the private server of Democratic presidential candidate Hillary Clinton which U.S. courts have forced her to reveal.”

Much further down are these two paragraphs:

“Mr Powell’s memo goes on to say that a recent move by the U.S. to protect its steel industry with tariffs, which had damaged UK exports, was a ‘bitter blow’ for Blair, but he was prepared to ‘insulate our broader relationship from this and other trade disputes’.”
“The memo was included in a batch of 30,000 emails which were received by Mrs Clinton on her private server when she was US Secretary of State between 2009 and 2013.”

I made the comment that I think the redacting came from FOIA request and I based my opinion upon this line on the document posted:

UNCLASSIFIED U.S. Department of State Case No. F-2012-33239 Doc No C05446915 Date: 1/23/2014

You are correct for the 1950s: Top Secret, Secret, Confidential, and Restricted.

Restricted was dropped as a classification category in the 1960s.

How did she get Powell’s e-mails? That is a good question, but more so, WHY did she ask for them from the State Dept records section and WHY did she put them on her private home server?

Daily Mail posted only the Colin Powell memo. But a batch of Hillary e-mails released by DoS in response to a FOIA request, should include the transmittal and context documents that reveal the digital trail. It would be extremely interesting to know who sent it to Hillary and when, who else received it at that time, to whom Hillary sent it and when, comments they made, etc. Is the FOIA material that contained Powell’s Blair memo online (other than Daily Mail)?

I believe 'Restricted' was replaced by For official Use Only (FOUO,) which wasn't a classification, but rather an access rescriction.

I still have my FM 34-40-2 Basic Cryptanalysis which is FOUO. Somewhere in my libary I still have the older 1947 'restricted' manual', on the same subject.

Which shows Hitlery was data mining at the DoS while in her tenure. She data mined classified documents from previous Sec of State and then knowingly transferred them to her private server. Basically conducting espionage on her own government.

Also, there is the question: Why was Hillary saving documents from the G.W. Bush presidency written by SecState Powell on her private server?

Good question. Why was she collecting 10 yr. old classified documents? How could it possibly be relevant to the Sec. State in 2012?

The key on that email is *when* Clinton had it on her server, as it was declassified on April 1, 2012??

So if she had it prior to 4/1/12, problem for her. After, not so much (for that 1 email).
