What the intelligence reports of Tenet's CIA actually told Bush was that al-Qaida was plotting terrorist attacks, but neither Tenet nor Bush knew how or when any such attacks would take place.
Did Trump say they knew how or when the attack would come? No, he didn't, yet IBD is implying he did. How is that embracing conspiracy theories? All he is stating is Bush was warned attacks were going to happen, which is true. The rest is media distortion to make Trump look like a nut, just like they distorted his comments about illegal aliens being criminals.

Not when you're told it's "months" or even "weeks" away. There is a difference between being told there is a danger of attack, and being told there is a certainty of a major catastrophic terror attack that is imminent; plus he was even requested to up covert action against Al-Qaeda as early as March, but which the Bush administration only approved immediately after 911.

Wasn’t Hillary in the Senate in NY when Trump was donating to her? Makes good sense for Mr. New York and his business interests to do that.
