Leftist activists just tried to disrupt and unfurled a banner “Deportation is a family value”...they were escorted out promptly.
I’m thinking the Huckabee 3% is going to be collected by Cruz. Time for the Huckster to step aside.
Ted Cruz would make an excellent pastor or evangelist.
I recognize the names of several of my fellow LCMS Lutheran pastors on there. I too am supporting Cruz. He “gets” the key social/moral issues of abortion, gay marriage, and religious liberty extremely well.
I know on twitter I myself picked up a half dozen former Jindal supporters after welcoming them to join us.

If you don't like a conservative to be president, you should be honest and say it out, instead of being disingenuous and trying to assign him to whatever little office in the basement you want to put him in.

And, you think that being called of God to be a pastor or evangelist is being relegated to the basement? The highest calling one can receive is from God - not being president. You take my post and twist it into something derogatory - which it wasn’t meant to be. I just happen to see that gift within him. Sure, I support Trump, but that doesn’t mean I can’t appreciate Cruz. It is God who chooses and gives gifts to men. Lighten up Francis - you are barking up the wrong tree here. It is you who is twisting my comment and making it sound as though a calling from God is beneath the office of the presidency - I dare to say it isn’t.
I didn’t say he would be more suited - I just stated that I see the gift of pastor/evangelist within him. It is God who does the calling, whether it be for president, or to be a pastor, evangelist or teacher in the body of Christ. Some think this is derogatory, but it isn’t. To be called of God is the highest honor one can receive.
Some Trump supporters have a practice of coming on Cruz threads, especially good ones, and trying to relegate him to whatever office that they can think about, other than the presidency.
So you can keep your righteous indignation and speech to yourself.
Anyway, it looks like Ted has a great ground game. He has a good shot at taking Iowa, and then all bets are off.
