Muslims aren’t a “religion.” But their religion, Islam, is completely opposed to Christianity, well to humanity. This guy is really swinging from the fences, but it isn’t going to work.

Remember the pole that overwhelmingly shows Blacks, whites, Latinos, etc. in favor of banning Muslims temporarily? It’s very simple. The majority of people don’t want to be shot up, blown up, or have their head removed from their body, like the woman in Oklahoma everyone seems to have forgotten about. I'm not the one who said he'd keep every single Muslim from entering the country. And I'm also not the one who says he can do it. So he's your candidate; how will he carry out his promise?

Radical Islamic terrorism is real. It's a threat, one that should not be taken lightly. Asinine promises like Trump's or thinking that we'll be safe if we only end the refugees are simplistic answers that serve to only gloss over the complex problem. Trump's proposal is not serious, and it never ceases to amaze me how many people think it is.

In an effort to inform American citizens of the facts and help answer these questions, please read the following.
8 US Code 1182 (Section a. Number 10, Paragraph f.)

Whenever the president finds that the entry of any aliens or of any class of aliens into the United States would be detrimental to the interests of the United States, the president may, by proclamation, and for such period as he shall deem necessary, suspend the entry of all aliens or any class of aliens as immigrants or non-immigrants or impose on the entry of aliens any restrictions he may deem to be appropriate.

This is in the U.S. Code of Laws. It was passed by Congress in 1952 and has been the law of the land ever since. And, by the way, at the time .. it was passed by a Democrat Congress.

So, to be clear, if the President determines that murderers, killers, and enemies are infiltrating any group of people to do harm to America; he has been given the power by Congress to stop or restrict that group’s immigration or non-immigration status and ability to come into the country by proclamation.

This is precisely what Trump has proposed, and for obvious reasons.

It is NOT .. UN-American, it is U.S. Law.
It is NOT .. UN-Constitutional, Article 6 Paragraph 3 of the U.S. Constitution regarding no religious test refers specifically and only to the election of Congress, and not to immigration.

As President, Donald Trump would have full legal authority under U.S. Law to do exactly what he has proposed.
All of the hype, outrage, and statements to the contrary are either political grandstanding, abject ignorance of the law, or willful lies regarding the issue.

AND .. PEOPLE NEED TO UNDERSTAND THIS: THE PRESIDENT DOES NOT HAVE TO GO BACK TO CONGRESS TO GET APPROVAL .. THIS U.S. CODE SAYS IT’S ALREADY A DONE DEAL .. AND THE PRESIDENT CAN JUST ISSUE THE EDICT AND IMMIGRATION OF ANY GROUP IS OVER ..!!!!!!!
