A bit late to ask. Jefferson was a deist who edited the Bible to create a fictional Jesus who was only a great moral teacher not the Incarnate Word of God, and the current occupant of the office is at best an adherent of “Reverend” Wright’s pseudo-Christian black liberation “church”, which has possibly even less in common with actual Christianity than Jefferson’s deism, and at worst a crypto-Muslim.
