If Middle East oil fields burn, this only makes the American domestic oil more valuable — lower supply means higher price for the American producers. The oil price will finally sky rocket and the stable places (America, Canada, Norway, and may be Kurdish areas) will reap the benefit. Win-win.

"I hope that the USA doesn’t send troops, Patriot missile batteries, aircraft carriers, money or anything else to defend the Saudis."

If a shooting war breaks between Iran and Saudi Arabia, we'll quickly find out who among our political leadership is on the Saudi payroll. We do have the best government money can buy, and the Saudis have invested heavily in it.

You're right of course.
And Jeb "It's My Turn" Bush will probably be out in front
insisting that America defend "our friends" the Saudis.

"You can bet the Saudi’s are trying to make deals to get the U.S. involved somehow, right now."

They would be better off asking the Israelis for help - much more likely to get it.

Let the Saudis bomb Iran to Hell.

And Iran bomb the Saudis right back.

I suppose that’s the one reason why maybe we shouldn’t fear the Muslims so much is because they spend much more time fighting amongst themselves than fighting the infidels.

We need Muzzies killing Muzzies. Thin the herd.

Hope they set the oil fields on fire and we can get back our oil production here.
