Because you would be encouraging idiots like him that have no chance of winning to run in the future.

If all his votes went to Romney, Republicans might have won FloridaNot even Florida - Mittens lost by 74,000 votes and Johnson got 45,000.

Another LOSERTARIAN doing his bit for the establishment by draining a small percentage of âlow-informationâ conservatives away and tipping a number of races to the âRATS.By running for president he tips races for other offices to the Rats? How does that work?

Wow. I can hardly wait for the Libertarian Party candidate debates.

Might give me someone to vote for if the conservative brainfart lasts into voting time. Why not just vote for hitlary then.

I'll most likely find he's just another pot-head Liberaltarian (not a true libertarian).True libertarians support pot criminalization?

He thinks murdering babies should be legal. But he is states'-rights on abortion (still not enough to get my presidential vote unless maybe the only other choices were pro-Roe).

I have libertarian leanings, yes.
Would i stand behind this Johnson fellow? NO.
Here’s why: In the last Libertarian nomination caucus, there was a more well-spoken, more defined named character called King, with whom Johnson was contending for the nomination.
Johnson has the same hillaryitis: ‘it’s mine, i worked for it, you owe to me, it’s mine!’
The caucus cowed and gave it to Johnson.

And in no state other than Florida was Johnson's vote more than 35% of Obama's margin of victory (in Florida it was 60%).

No. Small L libertarians don’t see drug legalization as the first step to having a great country.

Because I don’t vote for liberals anymore. I voted for three liberals in a row and America sucks because of it. If the Stupid Party wants to nominate another liberal, they can go on without me.

(The republican party is the voters, not the politicians.)
To: ObozoMustGo2012
This a*shole is greatly responsible for why Obama won in â12Right...Gary Johnson's 1% of the vote is what cost Romney the election. And where's the evidence that the 1% who voted Libertarian would have voted at all if Romney and Obama were the only choices?
Republicans who blame Libertarians or other third party candidates for their losses remind me of Democrats who still whine about how Ralph Nader cost Al Gore the election: it's so much easier to blame (imagined) third party spoilers than to admit that your own candidates are so terrible that they can't even motivate people to turn out and vote for them.
