They can go as far as the border of a foreign country but until the POTUS gives a CBA order they can go no further. We knew within a week that In Extremis forces were spinning up on Sigonella and in Croatia and Italy. It is clear as day what happened. 0bama refused to give a CBA order, went to bed and the commanders simply called back whatever forces had gotten underway.
Amazing truly amazing. unbelievable really! course it’s questionable whether Obama went to bed.3 that’s open to discussion without question he was definitely mia between 7 and 10 although it’s reported he made a phone call to Hillary at 10 but then I have other opposing links to that.
Thats the whole problem with this whole story its not a straight shot.theres deviations all over the road.
