I’m not supporting the Luntz focus groups on the whole...but your statement about his focus groups and Trump are simply not correct.

I criticized the entire notion of Focus Groups as tools for campaign strategy in my Amazon best selling elections book - and included Luntz. I’ve also been published several other places criticizing Luntz groups....to great reviews.

But to say they’ve been anti Trump is just not true.

Lantz’s focus group have proven time and time again to be packed with nitwits. Trump won that debate hands down.

I disagree with the Luntz dunces. I think Cruz had his weakest performance. He was just all over the place. Trump had his strongest debate yet and actually Kasich did well this time. I can’t stand how the analysts keep trying to breathe life into Jeb’s campaign. He looked feckless last night. Rubio also looked rattled. Carson was steady, but if he doesn’t show more fire in the belly, his days will be numbered. Christie continues to look better. I would rank them from last night this way: Trump, Christie, Kasich, Cruz, Carson, Rubio, Bush. Those are not necessarily the order of my support, but just how I saw it.
