Hell yeah, Dog. But he does look good in a Blue Blazer with Gray Slacks and a Striped Shirt. He has needed a good primary for a while now.

I’d call Burr’s office Friday except dey be closed I am sure.
This a-hole wouldn’t mind then when I vote for any Dem running against him; that Dem won’t be as Lib as Bernie, so Burr should be ok with it. Send this ass hat to the unemployment line and Obamacare.

Dr. Gannon is running in the primary again I know him he is a good guy. Came very close to beating out Tillis but again the e-GOP threw a lot against him. I think with the story Gannon can win and unseat this ass hat Burr. I will NEVER vote for him again (-1) and prob vote for the Dem (-2) to flush him and look to come back in the next cycle.

Senator Richard Burr On False AP Story And Hillary’s Server

HH: I am so glad that you are there, and I wanted to get your reaction. As soon as I heard this, I called my booker and said find Senator Burr and get a response from him. I see you have already demanded a retraction from the AP.

RB: Yeah, listen, Hugh, thanks for the opportunity to be on. The statement by itself is so ludicrous. You know, I have been out for the year that everybody’s been campaigning or longer. And you know, I’ve got video of myself and printed media that says I’m going to support the Republican nominee. As the chairman of the Intelligence Committee, the last thing I want to do is endorse. I had four colleagues in the race. And one of my colleagues is a member of my committee, and I think for the chairman of the Intel Committee to come out and endorse anybody would suggest that somebody’s got a leg up on national security. So I’m not going to do that. But make no mistake about it. I’m going to support the Republican nominee, whether it’s Ted Cruz or Donald Trump or any of the rest of them. The great thing about it is Republicans have more than one person they can look at and call them Mr. President and be proud.

HH: Did you even make a joke about it at the event?

RB: No. No, and as a matter of act, I’m sort of shocked that this is around a fundraiser, because there just haven’t been many over Christmas, and I didn’t have one in Washington this week. I had one in North Carolina that was a very small event, and it was on Monday. But there’s some reporters in Washington, more than one, that want to try to draw these divisive lines, and they’ve been out all week trying to do it. I don’t know what the intent was, but let me just say this, Hugh. The reporter did call our office. And we said it never happened. The story still ran.

Cruz would be the Tea Party’s trench warfare general. A far cry better than Jeb or others.

Trump leads a patriotic ‘America First’ coalition that is not so conservative, but he would do more to cut waste and abuse out of the budget. Here is what I mean ...

The Establishment can be bought off on the cheap. Save 20 tax dollars by offering 1 dollar of pork. That’s how you work with the Etablishment. Cruz supporters would end up losing us more money than Trump through fiscal trench warfare — if he even manages to win the White House.

To speak in military terms — a brilliant general knows how to outmaneuver. A mediocre general gets you mired in trench warfare.

[But a horrible general would be Jeb Bush.]

From the Triad (NC) Conservative: (BTW there are three primary challegers in which Burr need get to 40%. This comment of his probably gonna cost him a run off. At which point NC can 'Eric Cantor' this Sander sychophant off to the unemployment line and on to ObamaCare.)

No Surprises Regarding Richard Burr's Reported Support for Sanders

The news that NC Republican Senator Richard Burr had verbally expressed a preference for Bernie Sanders over Ted Cruz was quite fascinating. Burr, in response, has sought a retraction from the Associated Press.

Some Republicans might be shocked or disconcerted regarding the AP report. But North Carolina conservatives and constitutionists who have been paying attention to Burr's voting record are likely unsurprised regarding his reported statement.

Ken Cuccinelli from the Senate Conservatives Fund stated the following in response:

Senator Burr has lost his way...

Senators like Richard Burr are the reason why so many Americans are fed up with Republicans in Washington, and they need to be replaced with conservatives who believe in our principles.

Burr is opposed by three challengers in the upcoming Republican primary. Let's hope the challengers can keep him below 40% of the vote so a run-off can take place. And let's hope at least one of them can run a viable campaign.

Back in July, we had pointed out that, based on his voting record, Burr is ideologically closer to Sanders than he is to Ted Cruz. Burr's apparent off-the-cuff statement is therefore merely a confirmation of existing data about which we already had known.

Of course you do. Trump supporters are notoriously gullible. If they weren't, they wouldn't believe the casino, bar & strip club owner's endless stream of obvious lies, and they certainly wouldn't vote for him.

Sen. Burr never said this. It's an obvious lie about him, probably a dirty trick from either the Brannon or Ross campaign.

Even if Burr dislikes Cruz (and I don't know whether he does), Burr would have to be an idiot to say such a thing, and he's no idiot

Burr has promised that if Cruz is the nominee, he (Burr) will vote for him (Cruz). Burr would have to be an idiot to endorse one of the Presidential candidates before the issue is decided! All that would do is alienate the supporters of all the other Presidential candidates. Burr is not an idiot, so he's not going to endorse until someone has the nomination locked up.
