Interesting you don’t ever seem to post any pro-Cruz stories

Your actions are not those of a person who is confident in their candidate.

Typical Cruz supporter projection.

After your 4 day Palin tirade, the fact that you clowns like to still run around with halos on your head is just pathetic.
________________________________________________

I’m finding Cruz supporters (at least on this forum) to be snobbish and just plain nasty.

Cruz’s supporters post more anti-Trump stories than they do pro-Cruz stories. If Cruz is all that and a bag of chips, why not post all of his greatness?

Huh?

I never said polls tell what a conservative is. It is the candidates who claim they are conservatives/Tea party when they are running and then jump ship as soon as they can. Most of those running on the GOP side this time have, at one time or another, claimed to be conservative.

But Trump is not massively ahead because he is claiming to be the most conservative in the race. He is ahead because he is not selling the same sack of excrement POLITICIANS have been selling decades.

“many of the Freepers who support Trump are natural supporters. You can tell by their arrogance and rudeness.”

Because God knows there are no arrogant and rude Cruz supporters.

“Is there a “Born in USA to Two Americans”?”

I hope not because it would leave me out.

My mother became a citizen after I was born.

"As someone who (stupidly) voted for Ventura, this is the exact same scenario, same type of candidate."

Ditto for Schwarzenegger.

Who is the dude on the right? We should make him king.

I agree with you that Mr Trump’s politics are not convincingly conservative or what we need to repair what obama’s broken ( my wording) But I have t been able to find another effective ( and eligible) candidate with the “right “ politics -— and I’m even more certain that a few of the others are Not what’s needed (Bush, Rubio amnesty etc, Christie, etc). I can’t speak for others but I might chance a vote for trump if he gets nominated - given Hillary or Bernie are definitely wrong choices. Is Santorum still running?

That “letter” is nothing more that a somewhat convoluted regurgitation of all the Trump talking points from the last few weeks. She is a hack and a fraud with integrity issues.

I've been taking a lot of flack here on FR just for being undecided.

But the sudden movement to Trumps camp by people like turn coat Trent Lott and Ted Kennedy's partner Orrin Hatch really make me wonder.

As I've said before; I gave money to Cruz in his senate race and he's made me proud ever sense. He's never wavered in his promises.

Makes me sad. A perfectly good Conservative is offered up as a Presidential candidate to go along with the win in the mid-terms and people are drawn to a Liberal carnival barker.

Same kool-aid — different flavor.

Obama's father was a foreign national. Didn't matter where he was born. He is not a natural born citizen.

You realize that this criterion also excludes Cruz, right?

Cruz's father, Rafael Cruz, came to the U.S. in 1957 to study at the University of Texas. He did not become a U.S. citizen until 2005.

That’s the way cults work. We saw it with Barry. If I had to guess, I’d say there are serious societal reasons why American citizens are looking for a (political) savior.

“It is very sad to see how so many FReepers have lost their minds, have abandoned conservatism and embraced the cult of personality.”

That’s your opinion, but it’s not supported by the facts. “Conservatism,” as “practiced by the GOP” is a sham. It’s simply a vebal artifice to maintain the status quo for people who are no more conservative that the man in the moon. It would appear to me that “conservatives” today are like Christmas & Easter Catholics. Their “principles” go out the window just as soon as they take office. So while I consider myself a conservative, I am tired of being bull$hitted by people who utilze conservatism to further their own non-conservative agendas. So now, I want someone who will actually be a leader and make good on his promised actions. The idea that Trump is a “cult” is simply nonsense. So have at it all you “doctrinaire conservatives” here, the rest of us are tired of being “played” by the likes of the National Review and their “hand picked conservative candidates” all of whom are the real cult here. When you can put together a “conservative slate” who can do something other than flap their gums, call me, because it’s way past time for meaningful change.
