eb Bush's donors complain he is "burning money" with lavish spending on fancy hotels, fundraisers at the Four Seasons and St. Regis, and private planes - all while his poll numbers have plummeted and some GOP operatives are wondering whether he should remain in the race.

Are they just NOW figuring that out?

Proving once again money doesn’t buy voters, voters bring money.

Trump has been beating low energy Jeb, like a drum, for wasting 100 million dollars.

They never considered Jeb to be the solution to our problems. They wanted Jeb to get it office and turn their donations into more money for themselves.

I'm not a Jeb! fan, but I tend to agree with the last paragraph in the article...

"I've known Jeb for 30 years, so the idea that Jeb would allow anyone around him to be frivolous with money is hilarious, it's ridiculous," she said. "The man is the most conservative, fiscally responsible person I've ever worked with."

This is advocacy trash and an obvious plant, not journalism.

Moreover, the donors bitching should come forth with their names, not hide behind this coward of a journalist hit piece.

It's the candidate, stupid!

You could run just about anyone and spend $100 million on them, and they would be more popular than before. Not Jeb. The money and ads actually showing his stiff demeanor and meaningless drivel make him less popular. Huckabee or Fiorina could be at 10 or 12 percent with that kind of money. Jeb drops every month. Pathetic.

There is a cure to the waste involved in spending money on lost causes.

Bingo! Might as well live the high live while he can. That can be the only reason he and others stay in the race even though they have no chance of winning.

That money they spend is tax free. So they can fly first class and stay in 5 star hotels and eat great meals.

Reality comes when they are out of campaign money and have to spend their own money.

You're right. Very naive of me to not consider the crony aspect.
