Why can’t Trump pay an artist to create original music for him? If I was running that’s exactly what I would do.

"Boston’s Tom Scholz asked Arkansas Gov. Mike Huckabee to stop using "More Than a Feeling." "

The real Irony of this situation is that a Tacoma based tribal casino has the rights and is using this song in their ads, so instead of being part of a political backdrop, it's being used to lure the mathematically challenged, the dream chasers, and the lost into parting with their hard earned or in many cases government provided money.

Cruz fan here too, that said, Adele is just blowing smoke rings. Trump paid the license fees, she doesn’t have a leg to stand on. All she can do is gripe to her liberal friends that will listen (the media).

Too bad. If Trump paid for the rights to the music he can play it all day long. Its not like Adele was going to vote for him anyway. :-)

meanwhile, Neil Cavuto sits forlornly by the phone waiting for Adele to call.

If Trump needs a campaign song, he could use There's a New Day Coming by the Sam Ross Silver Town Orchestra.

There are so many things that Trump does that continually increase my fondness for him, even though I’ll probably vote Cruz.

Isn’t it interesting that the libs expect us to share absolutely everything that we earn or create with people who don’t share our values or our work ethic and yet they complain to no end about having to “share” what they create. Another case of liberals believing that the rules they want to force onto others should not have to apply to them.

Why would he play ABore in the first place? Yes ABore has a good voice but her songs are about as exciting and stimulating as watching paint dry.

Why would Trump need to pay for playing anything?

https://www.eff.org/deeplinks/2009/10/court-rules-phones-ringing-public-dont-infringe-co
The ruling is an important victory for consumers, making it clear that playing music in public, when done without any commercial purpose, does not infringe copyright. That’s thanks to Section 110(4) of the Copyright Act, which exempts public performances undertaken “without any purpose of direct or indirect commercial advantage.”
