Rush is confused. He thinks his listenership equals the base. The base is bigger than you, Rush, and most of the base is moving on from you because you’ve lost the ability to see beneath the surface and analyze what’s really going on in the world of politics today. The base is engaged, aware and understands the state of our society better than you do. I’m sorry that the game has passed you by, but that’s what it is. You have gotten intellectually lazy and now rely on platitudes rather than digging deeper to try and understand the political dynamics of today and how they have changed from 20 to 30 years ago. Nothing personal Rush but you’re no longer relevant.

What makes you think everyone Trump & his supporters have lied about, mocked and ridiculed will just fall in line behind him after his wins the primary?
Trump is playing to the Code-Pink, Planned Parenthood Democrats to fill the void of T.E.A. Party Conservatives.
When I first ready about Trump being "petulant", I had a pretty good idea what it meant, but I looked it up to make sure.
There is no better term to describe Trump than PETULANT

Why then with his overwhelming polling leads, do he still act like a Jackass and as if he doesn't need or want our vote?
How do you suppose he will then unite the party after his obnoxious, demeaning, petulant behavior, the person attacks - not just political differences towards the other candidates and their supporters?
We see it all over FR, I'll never vote for Cruz, I'll never vote for Trump.
I heard this and disagree with the premise
To analyze the Trump effort on historical basis is error. There can be no valid historical comparison between the Trump effort and the Bush effort.
Bush is marshalling troops and resources to fight the last war. That war we can plainly see doesn’t exist.
The Trump voters are in effect a new base. The new base is composed of elements not presently clearly defined but that include elements of groups that have abandoned the base Bush sought to capture.
The trump campaign initially sought the Vast Pissed Off Conspiracy and then in pragmatic fashion enlarged it by doing what worked. Early on, it was not possible to measure the VPOC but we are now measuring it many times a week. We know that Trump now measures the VPOC at as much as 39-42% of Republican primary voters
The VPOC is the new base created more or less right before our eyes

Fallacious argument/question. You assert Trump’s been “behaving badly” when in fact, he’s been going about the business of winning the nomination. He’s doing/saying the things folks have been clamoring for the GOPe to do for many years now.
I believe he will continue to do so after he has the nomination secured & focuses solely on his next opponent. The make believe “divisions” the MSM & GOPe trying to force down our throats will vanish much as they have in these primaries cuz’ Trump is bringing voters together like never before since Reagan last ran.

I’m of the never vote for Trump.....at this point..... how could anyone of conscious vote for this obnoxious, demeaning, caustic, blowhard individual to Represent the People of this country???....not to mention any who vote for him will be voting for the “Corporate Cronies” he’s going to put in charge of HIS JOB because he cannot do it himself.
A vote for Trump is voting for the unseen “partners” .....people really are “stupid” not to see through this facade he’s delivered wrapped in deception and fraud.
It’s a disgusting embarrassment to see how easily the people have fallen for this .....and if he wins they will get exactly what they deserve.....and they thought Obama would be a ride....
So each day we all go back and forth, some taking things more serious and personal than others.
