This is not something that Mr. Trump has done in the past couple of months. This is very old information that has been accessible to those in-the-know for years and years.
There is a reason that it wasn’t publicized until Trump had the Republican nomination wrapped up..... and don’t expect this to be the end of it. He hasn’t released his tax returns. We don’t know about all of his mistresses. We don’t know what connections he has to foreign governments.
You fools don’t get. A media created candidate lives and dies at the whim of the media.
It is better for all if they launch all of their full salvos now, rather than wait until he is the nominee. Damage control is easier when it is on your own turf - He must be able to survive it now if he is the nominee, because the Liberal plan has been all along to keep quiet until he does win the nomination. The only reason we will see this surface now is that the Liberal (and conservative) establishment has decided that he will win, and that he must be stopped now, or might not be able to be stopped later. In a way, that opens the doors wide open for Rubio and/or Cruz. Anyone that has amassed billions is bound to have a lot of skeletons in their closet. Better to see them now, than six months from now.
He isn’t going to get the full onslaught till after he is a nominee. This is just a taste.
Likely part of the broader pre-education, have to start conditioning the public for when the bring out the hard dirt.

It was safe. There were no panhandlers on the strip. Anyone that got the least bit out of line in a casino was quietly whisked off somewhere. You could eat at a casino cheaper than buying groceries. People actually dressed up when they went to the strip. There were no throngs of people with music (if you want to call it that) blasting and barkers at the doors. It didn't have a carnival atmosphere.
When the mob ran Vegas, Vegas had class. Now it's a disgrace by comparison.
