Looks like the GOP senators are catching a little of that Trump fever.
Cuba in its entirely was ceded to the United States in 1898 as a result of the Spanish-American war. Guantanamo Base existed at that time.
The total area of the base is less than the area of San Francisco. The entire infrastructure of the naval base has been funded by the U.S. taxpayer for the last 118 years.
Barack the muslim does not hold the mortgage for the naval base.
