He?
Your point?
He talks like a pig.
To say he could have sex with a Lady who was deceased. He’s unbalanced.I am done with him.
I have no problem with your preference for the varnished politician.
Yes, it’s shameful, but apparently for many people this type of talk isn’t offensive anymore. They’re more offended that anyone would mention it.
How old are you?
I was there
It was not Mad Men
Big brash boorish talk seems to appeal to you too
Freeman
From the comfort of your IP address
Hell we’re all range boss on our smart phone no?
Do you even know what Pommie is?
Does it dawn on you in your rudeness ....again imitating that which you claim to hate....that demeaning our brethren in Australia who have bled and died right next to us from France 1918 to The Pacific early 1940s to INDOCHINA to Afghanistan betrays in a you a lack of gratitude and cognizance of kinsmanship even when it’s sitting on your face?
jonrick46 gives you the year of my birth. I am Trump’s age by a month.
Then you should know better than to post that women as victims thing
Maybe I misread you
If so I’m sorry
I’m a mere 58
When I look around I like how women acted better in 1970 than now by a mile
My fellow horndogs too
You misread me. I was trying to describe how the 60s sexual revolution had brought an unique dynamic between men and women.
It was the old culture of the Great Depression generation that entered a culture of drugs, rock and roll and sexual liberation. When you look at it, our parent’s culture had many great elements. They had deep moral values and saw the 60s generation as a sign of cultural decadence (but that’s another story).
From my parent’s culture, there was this element that men were the dominant force—the brave soldiers of the war. They were the hunters and the women were those bunny rabbits—the objects of their pursuits. Drugs, rock and roll and sexual liberation because of birth control, created a whole new chemistry which electrified the old dynamic between men and women. It broke down the moral values held by the parent’s culture. It built the Playboy Clubs the Go-Go bars and the pickup clubs. To add to the thrill, women were buying into Free Love. The Bunnies were free bunnies. All this happened while the Women’s Liberation Movement was trying to tone it down. However, the toning down would not come until later. The word “no” was not in the equation.
The change of the 60s also happened in Europe. Oh boy, that is a long story! I’ll give you an idea. I sailed into Oslo, Norway on a U.S. Destroyer that went all through Europe. We had to wear our uniforms ashore. I was walking towards a hotel to check out the bar it had, when this gorgeous Norwegian girl takes me by the arm and says, “I love American sailors!” Wow! The sexual revolution was in full throttle in Oslo. I wanted to marry her. It happened to several of my shipmates. Another ship that was there for three months, because of mechanical problems, had 43 sailors who married girls from Oslo.
One extra story: While in Oslo I met Bill Clinton one night in the Oslo University Student’s Union. I think he had a Norwegian girlfriend there too. It was there it must have been five tables lined up with his friends and pitchers of beer. They saw me in my sailor uniform and it was Clinton who called over to me: “Come on over and have some beer!” I remember Bill talking about his situation with the Draft Board. This was the night of a big anti Vietnam War protest earlier that day. I was shocked. In Oslo?
Oh, so he is allowed to be rude to me but I cannot reciprocate? I get it. If he were not a Trump supporter, I doubt if you’d stick up the idea that I cannot razz him back. So keep your one-sided advice.
He was probably there to organise the anti-Nam protest in Oslo. He was a Rhodes scholar at Oxford University and was one of the main organisers of the big anti-Nam march to the US Embassy at Grosvenor Square in London (which ended with a large riot).
