Infection
E. meningisepticum predominantly causes outbreaks of meningitis in premature newborns and infants in neonatal intensive care units of underdeveloped countries.
Some of the outbreaks have been linked to sources like contaminated lipid stock bottles, contaminated venous catheter lines and nutritional solution, and tap water. The bacterium is also a rare cause of nosocomial pneumonia, endocarditis, postoperative bacteremia, and meningitis in immunocompromised adults. Only recently has it also been found to cause soft tissue infection and sepsis in the immunocompetent and in a case of a fatal necrotizing fasciitis in a diabetic patient.

You are a role model!
Of course, that’s not how the government and media would report it if you came down with some disease that was their fault . . . “at 73, there were other underlying health issues. In sports tonight —”
I want what youve been drinking.

Just black coffee, lots of water and LOTS of beer every day, with emphasis on the latter. Occasional milk shakes with burgers. Canned tuna on croissants. Chocolate milk with cake. ....Just a regular diet of only one or two meals a day, since I’m retired and less active, so I don’t gain weight. .....In the first year after retirement, I lost 35 pounds because I previously was working 12-15 hours a day at work and home and eating three big meals a day.
