It's about time. How about bringing charges against these thieves. For years these bastards have been raking in bucks for their personal benefit on the backs of veterans. GET A ROPE!

We gave to WW once. Then the stories of financial abuse started. If they can clean up their act, I would consider them again. But I will be vigilant in checking on them.

Just an observation. The more polished and heart string pulling the ads for a charity are, the more likely that there is at least a degree of self serving in the administration of the charity.

I know all Italian Americans aren’t in the Mafia, but I do wonder if there was some skimming going on.

For years these bastards have been raking in bucks for their personal benefit on the backs of veterans. GET A ROPE! In sharp contrast, there are many GOOD veterans organizations, and for wounded veterans, the best and best organized is the DAV (Disabled American Veterans) (click here).
In existence since the 1920s after WWI, the DAV uses less than 5% for administration, the rest goes to programs of and for service-related disabilities of all kinds.
Don't let newly introduced projects displace your support of DAV, whos motto is:
Serving Veterans Since 1920
We are dedicated to a single purpose:
Empowering veterans to lead high-quality lives with respect and dignity.

Too little, too late.
Those two thieving bastids did so much damage to the WWP that I doubt they can recover.
I personally am going to have see more than a damned teddy bear and blanket going to vets before I open my pocket book for them again.
And whoever comes to the helm best express his support for the 2nd Amendment and disavow all the crap of that fool that was in charge.
Then...maybe...MAYBE, I'll get back in touch with them.
