The author was so sad knowing that the Wicked Witch is a weak candidate and that she will lose in November; made the article a joy to read.
My parents must've been very confused because they were definitely socialist statist hippies. They dressed me in corduroy bellbottoms.

Hillary at least has (or will have) her own party backing her.
When I left for Vietnam the hippies were a much different breed then when I came home, that’s for sure.
Something changed while I was gone, they went from just being goofballs to something very hateful and spiteful.
I really had no problems with the love-bus hippies that existed early on (except the fact that my sister thought they were wonderful), but the metamorphosis of what they became made me hate everything about them.
Right. The hippies tried to be self-sustaining. Ate from garbage cans, formed eco-friendly communes, etc.
Sheer naivity while Bill Ayers and others eventually herded them into anti-patriotic anti-freedom agendas.

This argument and threat has finally weighed too heavily on the thinning ice it has been placed on for the last several weeks. It presumes that we Trump supporters are going to grudgingly support some non-Trump non-winning nominee to unite the party, because the non-Trump folks will not be coming behind Trump to be the nominee under any circumstances, not even the general election.
Now, this is really approaching the point with me where those folks, that strategy, and the assumed support can never ever be counted on again. They can absolutely jam it. We'll take Trump to loss or victory without them and be alright with it. The rest can go up on the hill and build their booth by Jonah and watch while all is destroyed.
Then we will square off in two years in different political parties and start anew. It will be interesting and refreshing. Lots of opportunities for sure. Maybe I and a lot of others ought to be thinking about getting into politics to run for the house of representatives in our new party in couple of years.
Just voted for Sanders in the NC primary. I can’t stand that shouting XXXXX. Let’s hope for a Trump victory so Whoppi Goldberg can leave the country.
I have said for eight years or longer that Hillary Clinton’s major problem is that the WOMEN of America DON’T want to see her or probably any other woman in the white house. Women are the majority of voters and can put whoever they want in the white house simply by virtue of a mathematical majority but if they wanted Hillary she would now be serving the final few months of her second term. The idea that so many men have that women will all vote for a woman simply because she is a woman is simply wrong. If they wanted a woman we would have had one many decades ago.

I was in college then. The hippie movement or counterculture was one thing, the antiwar movement quite another. And yes, after 1970 the two more or less merged.

O'Malley bailed early because he couldn't get the debate moderators to ask him any questions. You are now left with the She Beast of Bhengazi and a crusty old commie who can't win the general, and your "inevitable" candidate is mired in the shadow of a very focused FBI investigation.
What are you going to do when the indictments start rolling in? Bernie? Everybody's been focused on the anti-establishment insurgency going on in the GOP, but I think you have a much bigger problem on your hands.

I just checked it out. In some cases, artificially effected “beauty” can’t hide the bone-deep ugly.
