Adios, mi amigo, hasta la Reuniones de Verano.
Goodbye, my friend, until the summer conventions.
I suspect he will make somebody a nice V.P. candidate, if the nominee is not Trump or Cruz.

A couple?

When you start with 16 candidates, there are going to be 15 final concessions. Not all are done so well.

After that speech he can go either way. Like I thought after Carson’s CPAC speech. Did not directly attack Trump but can be a Jeb/Romney (notrump) asset.

The negotiation has started. Surprising since I was sure he was #notrump. He can still be a big factor in the divisive convention - Cristy, Carson, Rubio support would be Yuge. Rubio would have trashed Trump tonight if that’s not an option. And Carson “slipped” today saying Trump endorsers can get a good position.

The Gang of 8 and Schumer’s smile on the podium nixed his candidacy in my eyes, way back then. I agree, but I write now with the idea that we need all hands in November, if we wish to keep our necks.

I’ve been watching Presidential politics closely since the 1960 election, even remember Eisenhower/Stevenson.

Age, experience, perspective matters.

So yes, I will.

He’s young. Give him a few years to adjust his amnesty debacle and he’ll be there.

Good riddance to the amnesty loving bubble boy.

Christie ruffed him up pretty good and Trump finished him off.

I’m sorry, I don’t care how old you are, Marco Rubio has NOTHING in common with Ronald Reagan.

DO NOT sully Ronald Reagan by comparing scum like Rubio to him.

It’s disgusting and offensive.

Sounds like some Trump supporters would prefer to keep bashing Rubio and his supporters rather than have their support moving forward. They may well get their wish.

At least his speech was thoughtful and coherent unlike others who wish to be the GOP nominee.
