Nancy was pilloried for her “Just say no!” campaign. Of course the left would do that, because “just say no!” is compatible with American liberties that says we are free to screw up, whereas the left wanted a Nanny-state solution that gives the appearance of fixing the problem but in fact just build an intergenerational dependence.
