Missing delegates were determined by subtracting awarded delegates from the number of delegates from stats that have already had their caucus or primary.
They may be ‘soft delegates’ or ‘free delegates’ or ‘delegats remaining to be assigned in the convention’.
Do you know if ND delegates are all unbound because they hold caucus’ in a week
I do not.
I wouldn’t be surprised if that information isn’t available at one of the links provided.
The link at the bottom also links to other pages, that may have that information if the others don’t.
It is a caucus though. What do we know about them. They are insider party operations where the GOPe rules.
Some folks like to think it’s a very high number of just Conservatives.
I think it’s more accurate to think it’s more people who are fellow travelers of the GOPe group think.
Voting for Cruz now is not voting for Conservatism. It is voting for a floor battle at the convention. We all know that will be won by the GOPe.
Folks need to wake up and finally realize who their fellow travelers are.
which of these various numbers of delegates do they use at the convention? different sources show different numbers, give or take a few. How do they land so precisely on 1237 in the end? whose numbers do they use?
The Stop Trump crowd will do its best. Seems Cruz has a steep climb to get to a first vote nomination

This is true. But it ignores a very important point: Trump very likely has to have the majority going in. If there is a second ballot I expect the votes for Trump will decline and the votes for Cruz will increase.
Right now this is just my gut feel. As we get closer to end of the Primary Season we should have our answer. If Trump comes up short (unlikely but quite possible) there will be a huge interest in the makeup of the convention delegates. Are they loyal to Trump over Cruz? Who knows? I’m betting Cruz.
Interesting times, these.
OK. I’m not sure it does. If I read their delegate page right, it does not.
I don’t believe MO has been “officially” called yet. MO sos, says there are local recounts....won’t be official until 4/15/16.
If Trump lead holds, Trump gets the last 12 (766).
Trump takes California. Californians love celebrities.
My pleasure! 8^)

THE DELEGATE RACE MATH ~
Trump won 7,825,264 votes -> 755 delegates.
T.Cruz won 5,737,119 votes -> 465 delegates.
And there has not been a recount ordered in Missouri.
The delegates should be strong for Trump.

Please start a thread with that tomorrow.
Just a suggestion:
‘Why bother to vote? Just let the GOP establishment choose our candidate!”
The delegates should be strong for Trump.

I don’t disagree that they SHOULD. But at this point the signs point in the oppose direction.
Does the endorsement by Jeb signal that Cruz has made his deal with the devil for a shot at the nomination? Or, is Cruz a patsy who will be discarded?
It looks like Cruz and Kasich are on the take, if you get my drift.
