Cruz has never denied he had an adulterous affair. He just blames Trump for bringing this stuff to the forefront. Trump says he didn’t do it, Cruz says Trump has no policies when it comes to governing.

I think that it is entirely possible for Trump to end up with 1237 delegates. Since it is possible, Trump cannot be ruled out yet.
Cruz can be ruled out simply because he cannot get enough delegates. And if the rumors injure Cruz’s numbers at the polls, then that only makes it easier for Trump to win the delegates he needs.
FWIW Glenn Beck is talking himself in circles right now formulating how none of this could be true, but IF it is just one affair he could forgive him, and if it’s more, he would withdraw support. I don’t think Beck even goes there unless he is truly thinking something might be there.

Not saying this is true, but would you have believed that John Edwards (Mr. Family man with cancer stricken wife) would be having trysts while campaigning for president? I can’t explain the stupidity other than some pols can’t control their hormones. Add Clinton to the mix and several GOPe dalliances, and nothing surprises me. Read some of the “missing posts” from this Carpenter and you can see that she is infatuated with him. Now, if I were him and innocent, I would sue the NE (see Gawker) immediately and scream to anyone listens that I did not have affairs with these women. The only thing that I have heard from him is that the NE is garbage and Trump did this. Not much of a defense.

Once they keep Trump under 1,237, then the truth of the Cruz affair will be mysteriously "confirmed" by all media sources, and play 24-7 on the media circuit.
At this point, the GOPe will be able to deny Trump (didn't get to 1,237) and deny Cruz (affairs make him a toxic candidate), and will nominate their own slate, which won't matter because either their slate or Hillary -- THEY WIN!
You watch and mark my words. When Cruz "wins" Wisconsin, the MSM will hold it out as "vindication" that there was no truth to the Cruz sex scandal rumors, and the "voters have spoken".

It would be a good reason to close down your Twitter account, even if you knew that people anxious to pounce would call it incriminating.
Somebody needs to do the same thing to the people who replied to Amanda Carpenter, and to the guy who first accused Carpenter of deleting tweets because she’s guilty. A demonstration of what can be done would keep the discussion honest.
Then again, who knows whether this comment of mine will even be approved, or whether it will be held in moderation purgatory as have many posts over the past few days. Apparently five years on FR is too short a time to be allowed to speak freely.
