Trump never "went after" Cruz's wife or daughters. What an outrageous lie. Cruz would not get my vote.

I agree, unfortunately. It is so sad to see Ted Cruz come undone. He has no proof that Donald Trump had anything to do with going after Heidi or ‘his daughters’. Where in the world were recent attacks made on his daughters? I must have missed it.
The evidence points to Rubio and yet Cruz pins every wrong thing on Trump. He seems obsessed in an unhealthy way.
I saw this kind of behavior become more bizarre as the days passed by. I am still in shock at Cruz’ reaction to last week’s terror attack in Brussels. I could not believe the video I was watching but it was the first time Cruz was confronted by the news media with news of the Brussels terror attack and I expected the Ted Cruz that I know to first pay respects to the dead and the families of the dead. Instead to my shock, he immediately launched into an attack on Donald Trump, mentioning Trump by name in wanting to decrease the US’s share of funding NATO.
Trump wants the Euros to pick up more of the tab for NATO. It is now funded 70% by the US up from 50% fifteen years ago. Cruz used the Trump proposal as an attack on Trump’s judgment in the face of the Brussels attacks.
Here is a man of more than above average analytical ability using the awful carnage of the Brussels terror attack as a backdrop to attack Trump on NATO policy. After witnessing this, that was the final straw for me.
Trumpkins truly are delusional. Even when Trump tweets it using his own account, his supporters pretend it never happened.

I’m glad Cruz said this. I don’t particularly like Cruz, mostly because I think he has good positions but he can’t negotiate very well, but I’d vote for him - although there were others I would have preferred.
Trump is disgusting and there’s no way I’d vote for him. I don’t care who supports him, he’s horrible and is only about Trump. For all you who think he loves you and will support you...he’d sell you out in a heartbeat. For Trump, it’s all about Trump.
Cruz is not a honorable man, he lied again tonight about Trump attacking his daughters...Cruz lies in just about every statement.
What is really frustrating for former Cruz supporters who see him as a liar is the fact that he lies mainly for his supporters. He can’t really lie to those who don’t support him, we see the real Cruz. He literally knowingly lies to those who trust and believe in him. That is disgusting.

No way would I want this guy Cruz to be any part of the general election in any manner for the Republicans after he loses the nomination. Cruz needs to drop out of the race, because the shoe is about to drop at the most awkward moment. I am sure, there are a lot of folks who hate this guy for the same sort of stuff he is trying to do to Trump, Cruz is so fixated and focused on hitting Trump that Ted won’t even notice one of the people he did this to the past coming out of left field and exposing him.

IF they do, which I would be shocked, but if they do it is simply because they know he’ll lose. Anyone who spends time in the ‘real’ world knows it. His pastor act coupled with his reputation of closing down the government, and all the other crap the left and the media throw at him, will sink his weak butt.

The title should've been he declines to discuss it. He didn't decline to support Trump.
