Wonder if your relatives name would be Trousdale?
Have watched the building of the Beretta
plant to what it is today.Really first class construction.
Got a Px4 Storm in 9mm that is really nice to shoot.
Big salute to Beretta for coming here.
Maryland “Freak State” PING!
Maryland “Freak State” PING!
It must be “fun” living in Maryland.
exactly right ....James Trousdale :^)
Captain - North Carolina militia - in the service of General Nathaniel Green and Francis Marion - among the victorious of Cowpens ,he was struck down by a Brit saber at Guilford Courthouse , but then recovered , to be present to witness the surrender of Cornwallis at Yorktown . For his good and long service he was granted a small tract of land on , or near , the Cumberland River . Upon which they established first a homestead , then a small trading post and time passed .... I am a direct relation .
sorry , correction , Carolina militia in general . They operated north and south . Prior to the outbreak of open warfare against the Crown he had been a ‘Regulator ‘ , in opposition to the Royal Governor , from his youth .
The sad part is that tax breaks were given to Beretta to establish a factory in Maryland.
Beretta USA lawyer Jeff Reh said a later version of the law made allowances for Beretta to make sure the company could still make guns in Maryland, but the company feared that "with the stroke of a pen our ability to manufacture products for the armed forces, or police, or even civilians, could be blocked."
The present Maryland law could close a plant in that state with the stroke of a pen, per the Beretta USA lawyer.
Time for an excellent company to move on down the road to a friendlier climate.
