My daughter is a teacher in Ohio. She HATES what Common Core has done to the curriculum there.
No use trying to tell that to Cruz supporters.
I agree.
And they will force Cruz to give his delegates to Kasich.
With your list one can see why Soros donates to Kasich.
Go away, Kasich.
You know why Kasich is even still in the race?
1) If he dropped out, his 66 WTA delegates from Ohio would automatically go to Trump.
2) He’s angling for a VP slot with somebody, anybody.
3) He’s a delusional weirdo.
Ping
Yiddish penis.
He has chutzpah, that’s for sure. Actually, his game is pretty simple. He knows that the establishment GOP hates both Trump and Cruz, and will do anything they can to stop them, so as long as he stays in the race, he’s the de-facto establishment candidate whether the party bigwigs like it or not. Even if he can’t get the top of the ticket, he figures his gadfly candidacy will at least earn him the VP slot. Besides, at this stage, he doesn’t really have anything to lose by staying in all the way through to the convention.
In the end, when Trump is the unquestionably the nominee, the Establishment will do what they always do, they will stop the huffing and bluffing and jump on the Trump Train and the money people behind Kasich will bail.
THAT’S when the real whining will begin when they go to Trump and try the old worn out loser position...’it was nothing personal Mr. Trump, it was only business’
Here in Michigan we have jokes about Ohio, but we never knew it was this bad down there.
“Well, of course they’re going to dump Cruz. Everyone has known that for a while, or they should have.
No use trying to tell that to Cruz supporters. “
Cruz has been used by the GOP,,and willingly. His supporters approve of it and have no issue. It was clear as a bell that he shifted his focus and rhetoric towards hate and name-calling and away from his earlier positions of taking it to the DC Cartel.
To be fair, Cruz has played a big part in exposing behind the scenes party sleaziness. He just does it more brazenly than others have before him. Trump has exposed his share of backstabbers but Cruz exemplifies the type of politician that is very easy to vote against. Backroom deals, condescension, holier-than-thou, smarter-than-thou cockiness. Why in the world would ANYONE think that is a winning combination?
SMH
This is why we need Cruz to stay. With just Trump-Kasich, the primaries can be presented as a straight up/down vote on nominating Trump. Trump is more likely to lose that vote, as more Kasich, Carson, Jeb, Rubio, Christie, and Cruz fans vote to stop Trump in their renewed hope of winning a contested convention, than he is to fall short on pledged delegates in a three-person race.
Also, that vote would give some legitimacy to a “white knight” nomination from the convention. “But the voters in the states after NY rejected him, so we couldn’t nominate Trump.” If Kasich dropped out, I’d be pushing Cruz to drop too, but as long as Kasich is the designated establishment choice, we need Ted Cruz to stay.
every Republican in the country who wants an open convention and to win the White House
*******************************************
Every Republican who wants an open convention knows that they will NOT win the White House by stopping Trump.
The goal is simply to block the citizens from electing anyone who would stop The Cheap Labor Express.
The RNC/GOP must deliver the amnesty candidate that has been paid for.
I know. Strange huh.
