Governor Deal is not likely to run in Georgia again. The high education lobby is very powerful.

What's the deal* with this guy? Seems like he vetoes every conservative bill that comes to his desk that would require the slightest gumption to sign into law.

*Get it, get it, tee hee.

If he didn’t intend to run again, then he should not have vetoed it for the higher education lobby would have had no leverage. I hate when Republicans cannot stand up for what is right.

See, this is what I mean. You have conservative elites screaming that Trump is not a conservative; yet they ignore the total sell-out of elected Republicans who are too chicken-s—t to advance the conservative agenda, and have all the leadership of a caboose.

As I predicted he vetoed. No surprise. Nathan Deal is a Democrat who runs as a Republican because its easier to win in Ga.

With this VETO, the legislature should respond with VETO PROOF Legislation declaring Nathan Deal a “Danger” to himself and the Community, and PROHIBIT Him from EVER Owning, Possessing Or Using a Firearm or Ammunition, Shall be prohibited from having anyone in his em[ploy or employed on his behalf with a Firearm or Ammunition of ANY KIND In perpetuity.

Make it a FELONY punishable by Life in Prison.

“Let’s make a” Deal
“Shady” Deal
“Dirty” Deal

From millions in debt to worth millions in just a few short years on a state salary.

Wasn’t he a Democrat some time in the past?

Does he have a lucrative college presidency in his future?

“Does he have a lucrative college presidency in his future?”

I certainly wonder about that. I have seen several governors cave under pressure from the education lobby. They are often underestimated. They often have more clout than the NRA.

They are center of “progressive” power.

Yes he was and likely still is. He’s an undocumented Democrat at this point.

Nathan Deal is all in for Common Core. Has jammed it down our throats.

It has more to do with him wanting to CYA. If something should ever happen he’d want to make sure he’s not to blame

It’s a selfish move, not in any way related to recognition of Constitutional rights. As a typical pol, it’s all about him.

A Democrat! Enough said?

I hope they can override his veto.

“I hope they can override his veto.”

Too late this year. Maybe next year.

The legislature already adjourned.

Yep. The Rats do this in every predominantly Republican state. You see this ALL the time in Montana, Nebraska, the Dakotas.

The scumbags know they could never win on the Rat ticket, so they pretend to be Republicans just to get elected.

Lindsey Graham, John McCain, Lisa Murkowski and Kelly Ayotte are just a few GOP Senators that are really deep down democrats.
