That was a great idea-my neighbor down the road has a couple of miniature horses-I’m going to ask her if she ever thought of that when her kids-she has 3 grown ones-were little.

"Ever watch what they do to their offspring in the wild? If the males get the youngster away from the mother they demolish it. Even Chimps will resort to cannibalism."

Some volks admire that kind of behavior in animals and put their affinity on display.

However, Alexander Cockburn writes:...Nazi leaders were noted for love of their pets and for certain animals, notably apex predators like the wolf and the lion. Hitler, a vegetarian and hater of hunting, adored dogs...Goebbels said, famously, ‘The only real friend one has in the end is the dog...One, as just noted, many Nazi leaders harboured affection towards animals but antipathy to humans. Hitler was given films by a maharaja which displayed animals killing people. The Führer watched with equanimity. Another film showed humans killing animals. Hitler covered his eyes and begged to be told when the slaughter was over.[30]

Not long we will see the day when some human will claim to be a animal of some type to copulate with it without socially being shamed. Or to be accepted for some sort of social function.

Absolutely! The family should reimburse the zoo the replacement costs.

I agree..there should have been zero thought involved. Child endangered...shoot the animal. BTW I would imagine most Freeper parents would have been the 1st ones over the enclosure and in hand to hand combat with the gorilla.

And they are wrong but pointing it out is useless.

Like the Media they have their template and anything that does not fit is ignored.

The anger is misdirected, it should be at the DUMB LIBTARD mom who did not have the kid under control in a stroller or in a child safety harness as she was NOT watching the kid at all. Not even aware where he was.

Saw the interview with the lady who tried to get to the kid before he got through a crack in the wall into the Gorilla sanctuary. Poor MAINTENANCE on the part of the Park’s work force. LIBTARD MOM will sue the Park, due to her own STUPIDITY. She should be charged with Child Neglect.

It is sad indeed-but I’m one of those people who thinks that if you are not familiar with swift-moving water, and are not willing to control your kids-and put life vests on them-the consequences are likely to bite you in the ass...

If someone is unfamiliar with the terrain they choose to spend a holiday in, at least pay attention to the warning signs posted.

It is a shame that the gorilla had to be killed but if they had done nothing but waited.......and the gorilla killed the kid......the gorilla would have to be put down anyway.

This way one of them, the child, is still alive.
