We’ve had plenty of political critters who use words that have been carefully crafted to avoid controversy. Trump is turning the attack reflex of the legacy media against them, in effect using them to propagate his message for free.

If some cranky civil servant or an irritated partner wants to take revenge on you, they turn you in to NICS and take your guns away. Doctors can play along too, reporting you to be stressed or depressed, and voila, no more legal guns for you.
