Whoever these stray #NeverTrumpers are some of them must have supported Cruz at one point or another.
That doesn't mean they're his minions or his pawns or that he's responsible for them or secretly leading their campaign or that he could stop them if he exerted himself.
In fact, a lot of #NeverTrumpers were only very reluctant supporters of TC, not people particularly close to him.
The problem, though, is that these rumor stories stick around, so we'll be hearing garbage like this for as long as Ted Cruz is in the public eye.

Be that as it may, Cruz could simply say "Trump won, the primary is over. Stop this nonsense and vote with the will of the people". Wonder why he isn't saying that?

I certainly can't say for sure that it's true, but it's possible that Cruz's inactivity is discouraging, rather than encouraging, #NeverTrump among the remaining Cruz delegates.

Unless he stops this crap, calls his minions off and endorses Trump NOW, I would never let him speak at the convention.
Cruz is NOT “fighting for his convictions”, unless those convictions are for socialism and selling out the USA.

If Cruz joins the revolt he will not be President and it’s possible he may not be Senator after the next election. And I speak as one who was supporting him for Senate back when I had to explain to Texans who the in hell he was.

Cruz’s only true conviction is Cruz.
This is the convention one- now I’m basing that on the link being so identified by the GOP link I followed. Also Blackwell is there (and he always is, bless him) and the reporters on twitter identify it as such.
And there are about a hundred people there.
