Its sad though that this rabbi is a coward.
It's sad that this rabbi is either a democrat or a socialist. Sad too that he just gave up his chance to deliver the invocation at the inauguration.

too many people fear for their life instead of stand with their faith in God.
God likes to see what we are made of :) and gives us these moments to choose.
I don’t understand most Jews at all. You’d think they’d want the guy who keeps the muzzies under control....but I know many don’t.
But this rabbi has a chance to stand up for doing the right thing and he chickened out.
I can imagine behind closed doors: “The donations! The donations! What will Trump do to the donations?”
Please pray for more American Jews to come to Messiah Yeshua. Many are testifying to Messianic faith, and many more are secretly looking to him. (It’s happening in Israel as well!) Rabbinical pressure against this phenomenon is sometimes brutal. But there is an end-time phenomenon taking place among Jews who are finding the truth in Yeshua. Play especially for Ivanka and her husband. They could be very influential.

American Orthodox Judaism has divisions. The main division is between the ‘moderate’ Orthodox Union and the conservative Agudath Israel.
At the very left of Torah-observant Jews is something called ‘open Orthodoxy’ which is generally a part of the Orthodox Union. Lookstein isn’t quite into ‘open Orthodoxy’, but he is on the left side of the Orthodox Union. These rabbis and congregations are usually called Modern Orthodox, and they do tend to vote for liberals. Think Rahm Emanuel and Joe Lieberman.
Haskell Lookstein has a prestigious reputation.

Trump money would make little difference to a place like Kehilath Jeshurun. Rabbi Lookstein lacks courage, not money.
This country (and the world) needs courageous men and women to do what has to be done in order to stop this downward spiral into the pits of hell.
