“But I do trust General Flynn much more than Trump so hopefully they are spending quality time together.”
Just read the interview...this General Flynn is right on the mark! I hope Trump announces this guy in an administration position during the convention and lets him rip. The best part of President Trump is who he is starting to surround himself with. Manafort, Pense and Flynn should be on every Sunday talk show going forward. They show Trump the manager.
Yes, but she ran with it, using it as her own thought, or at least agreeing with it, in that last question. She did not say, “Governor Pence agues that...” or say, with a nod to Pence, “If the world is spinning apart” — she clearly asserts, with the nod / credit to Pence, “the world is spinning apart.”
I’ve watched it several times, and I’m pretty sure that’s how most people would take it. Of course, Freepers are not “most people”, so I may be in the minority here, in my opinion. ;-)
As a “sound bite”, Stahl’s words are devastating to those now in power.
I haven’t received any mail yet.
No one expects the Spanish Inquistion, eh Leslie?
dum beetch.
She tried to divide them.
If it were Xillary and VP the interview would be nothing but gushing compliments on how “simpatico” they are and they make a great team.
Enemedia.
I don’t remember any democrat ticket getting grilled like that ever.
It was like she was egging them on to fight each other.
Typical liberal media.
“Ive never thought he did particularly well in debates and one really hurt him.”
I agree, in spite of what many people think, I feel that is his worst setting. And the moderators will be setting traps like nothing he has seen before in the primaries.
I think Trump is a bit lazy;not on energy or rallies, but on the details of issues. He should by now have some of these answers so refined that they are second nature answers for him. But I think Trump is more of a manager and CEO than a nuts and bolts guy; and that’s fine with me.
I’d much rather have a president who knows what is right and wrong and surrounds himself with best in class people to solve the problems and move his agenda forward., than a know it all who can’t get a thing done.
it was a good interview...Trump and Pence didn’t let the lib set the premise
60 Minutes rated NEGATIVE Nielson rating!
They polled people who some said they did not own a TV.
And said even if they had a TV, they still would not watch 60 Minutes.
(har har)
Good points. :)
Stahl says, “you’re not known to be a humble man.”
He says, “I think I am much more humble than you would understand.”
Leslie Stahl was more annoying than usual.

I was so surprised she appeared so bad. Trump dealt with her by being in her face and slapping her down. Pence will hopefully learn from his boss. these media people are paper tigers and can easily be put in their place.
I thought there was some stumbling. From what I’ve heard about Trump he’ll get this fixed. Stahl did a good job of picking them apart...if only she’d do the same to the witch.
Sounds like Pence might have gotten a good lesson from Trump: you don’t have to take any happy-crappy from these people.
I’ve cheered and supported Trump from the beginning, but I think he depends too much, almost exclusively, on his quick thinking and wit in debates, which can be dangerous.
Do the homework, prepare the talking points until you can quote them while asleep; then you can improv around the edges and score those magical kill shots.
Must have hit a nerve. CBS took the video down.
Someone showed me the New Yorker mag article about Tony Schwartz, the cowriter for The Art of the Deal. He claims it is all his idea, that he wrote 99% of it, that Trump was just a bratty child, and that he regrets doing this for / with Trump. It is a full on take down of Donald, on the very attribute we want him for.
I’d like to hear comments on that article from our wise FReepers. I tried to search for it here but haven’t found it yet.
That line cracked me up. A literal LOL
Trump to Stahl —> “I think I am much more humble than you would understand.”
Great moment!
