I don’t like Ryan, but this shouldn’t be a deal breaker to ANYONE if this is true: If you guys haven’t got it thru your skulls yet that this may be IT for our country, then you never will get it.
I supported Cruz early on but when Trump became the nominee I got on board and have no regrets.

The harm to Trump is how this affects how his supporters view him. He’s endorsing an open borders advocate.
Ryan will big win and it will be spun as a rejection of Trump. Trump needs to get ahead of that narrative.
I also wonder what constitutes "endorsement." It might be nothing more than "I look forward to working with Paul Ryan."

As much as I dislike Ryan, he is speaker of the house. Unless there is polling showing Nehlen is going to run away with the primary it only helps Trump to support Ryan. You don't need bad blood with the Speaker of The House when you're President.
Trump has to play some politics if he's going to get his agenda through congress.

Ryan isn’t going to give Trump anything. The deal seems to be if Trump goes near religion or race issues Ryan will frag him. Hard.
