It’s the conservative Republicans of CD1 who went for Cruz and now might be warming to Trump, but who also love Ryan.

Trump has no hope of winning WI with Ryan back stabbing him and openly campaigning for Hillary Rotten Criminal. I see Ryan dropped another FU at Trump by obviously refusing to jointly campaign with him today.

Trump should just write the state off and move on since Ryan & Co are not interested in winning in November.

Yes, but we NEED Nehlen.

CRAP!

Trump possibly could have made a difference. Why throw in with the establishment? Oh yea.....nevermind

Well, it is evident that Trump is not running his own show. Endorsing a guy that has sold out our country is not a good thing.

Trump is endorsing someone who refuses to campaign with him. Makes him look very weak, IMO.

What is he campaigning in Wisconsin now anyway. Why not wait until AFTER the primary. I am with you about something not being right.

Presumably the plan was to campaign with Walker & Ryan in a show of unity. Unfortunately, Walker & Ryan do not want a unified GOP.

It could be a win/win: Get TPP blocked now, Nehlen still could get elected. Most polls say know, but we know about most polls.

Nehlen gets what he wants, we get what we want, and Trump gets what he wants.

I think a lot of Nehlen supporters were also Trump supporters. Now many of them go with Ryan just because Trump did and Nehlen doesn’t stand a chance. I feel bad for Nehlen, he has been a big Trump supporter from the get go and the favor wasnt repaid.

But I guess that’s POLITICS.

WHICH ironically is what we’re all sick of.

As far as TPP. I don’t trust Ryan as far as I can spit him.

I know. On the other hand, I don’t care who endorses who. I vote for who I want.

I can’t believe some of the comments on this thread....

So what happens if Trump endorses Nehlen and he loses by 50 % or more to Ryan....?

I can tell you this....nothing good at all....

There are too many negatives to list....

Voters don’t like mixed messages. I’m afraid Trump is giving them.

He shouldn’t endorse anyone. He should endorse the voter’s pick after the primary. This is the cart before the horse.

I have a friend who is a gop establishment type who campaigns for mccain in each of his elections. I love the guy, he’s an old friend but he’s obsessed with McCain (every RINO really), anyways he’s worked in the camp for a while so now I guess he knows some people who know stuff? I don’t know for sure, but yesterday he told me GLOATINGLY that McCain camp has gotten a tip that Trump will endorse McCain. I laughed at him and didn’t believe it, but now? After this?

I dont know. We shall see.

I thought someone confirmed it with a video upthread??

If not, that’s good. Maybe Nehlen can pull out a shocker.

People don't understand the local nature of politics in Wisconsin (and anywhere else for that matter).

Trump is incapable of influencing this primary because of Ryan's popularity in Wisconsin.

Plus, Ryan, Johnson, and Walker are a political and indivisible unit.

Trump needs them to be competitive in Wisconsin. They do NOT need Trump.

Trump must endorse Ryan in Wisconsin to have any chance at winning Wisconsin himself in the general.

All the idiots suggesting otherwise on FR have no clue about how Wisconsin works.

Trump is in a no win situation. Endorse Ryan quickly after his non endorsement and look weak. Don’t endorse, have Ryan win in a landslide and give the media a “voters reject Trump” talk pointing. Endorsing may be the least bad option here.

Regardless, Ryan is an unforgivable POS to continue his fragging of Trump and refuse to campaign with him.

Sorry, there is no evidence Paul Ryan wishes to win Wisconsin in November. He’s fragging the GOP nom at every opportunity and refusing to campaign with him. Trump needs to move on and leave the Hillary enabling Wisconsin Republicans to stew in their own juices.
