Well, you’re likely correct, but for some reason the Germans are world famous for being dicks. I’m German heritage BTW, but these people never stop, and today’s behavior by MERKEL is a perfect example. Why do they think they’re in charge? Now there's a stretch of imagination (about par for the weirdos at CMI)...without anything to back it up. Colonialism was what is was, and many aspects were not pretty all around.

Sure, and we don't like that the Brits kicked our *sses and burned down Washington, DC in the War of 1812, but somehow we did manage to finally get over it.

And Germans certainly did not hate Americans a few years back when entire Soviet armies in Eastern Europe threatened the Fulda Gap.

200,000 Germans also seemed especially delighted to welcome candidate Barak Obama to Berlin in 2008 (see below).
So you'd expect by now no two peoples could be more lovey-dovey than Germans & Americans, right?

Much the same can be said in different periods of history of Hindus, Christians, and for their entire history Muslims. With Islam, it’s an essential tenet of their religion. They are all belief systems. Fortunately science is fact based and eventually self correcting.

So, you say Germans just love self-loathing Americans?
You think Americans who hate America are A-OK with Germans?
And what if over half of Americans vote for self-loathing Americans (aka "Democrats"), wouldn't that make us really nice people in the eyes of your average Germans?

But here's what I don't quite "get" -- aren't Germans themselves self-loathing?
I mean, what else could explain their immigration policy to allow in, how many, millions of potentially radical Islamic terrorists?
What non-self-loathing people would do such a thing?

So it sounds to me like it's not just non-self-loathing Americans Germans hate, they hate themselves as much as anybody else.
